This session, Quality through the IC Lens, will review the CMS conditions of participation from the infection prevention and control perspective, including an overview of the IPC program elements, antibiotic stewardship program, the environment of care, and regulatory updates. The session will also discuss how the IPC program can support facilities participating int the TexasAIM initiative addressing maternal health outcomes and highlight the role of the IP in supporting facility quality initiatives.
